Every year I have a pleasure to work with Biana, Lev and their wonderful kids, Eliana and David. This has been an awesome journey so far, and I can’t believe how fast time flies – it’s so cool to watch kids grow and also look back at our previous sessions from past years. (Which by the way are all over my website, because every session we had was just perfect!).

Every year Biana reaches out ahead of time to schedule a date, go over the outfits and location for the session. We try to go to different place every year. This fall our photoshoot was at Tyler Gardens in Newtown PA. This place holds a special meaning to this family, as Lev and Biana had their wedding portraits done here. We even tried to recreate a few poses which was super adorable.

We were aiming for a transitional look, not 100% fall, something with a hint of summer vibes, so girls wore chiffon dresses, styled well with boots, while guys wore neutral sweaters and jeans. If a client ever needs help with wardrobe options, I am happy to share a guide with some ideas and tips! However Biana has a flawless sense of style and every session we had they were dressed perfectly coordinated.

I usually start every session with more classic and timeless portraits, where we do different groupings : parents and kids, each parent with both kids, kids together etc. Then we move on to more candid moments where I would ask them to do simple things like walk around, twirl, look at each other. At the end we did some fun things like throwing leaves in the air, and kids got to kick the piles of leaves and got some adorable candid shots from those moments.
