We often have clients who wish to incorporate their dogs at the studio. ProPhoto by MK Studio always offers the opportunity to include your family dog(s) during your newborn photo session. As a dog-lover myself, I understand that these portraits create very special memories! Not only did we get some sweet images of baby Bradley by himself using the little bed prop, star and moon backdrop, and neutral solid-color fabric backdrops, we got to capture some sweet family photos with Kaine & Brady (Fur siblings). When photographing newborns and their dogs, safety is a top priority. Most images are actually captured as composites, meaning the baby is photographed separately and then removed from the scene. We’ll then photograph their furry sibling separately and then merge the 2 photos together in post-production. This simply ensures that there are no risks to your baby. Sometimes, depending on the personality of your dog we may photograph them together, but this is done in an extremely safe manner. These two golden retrievers were very cooperative and gentle with baby Bradley. Behind the Scenes, it takes a little bit of wrangling, some treats, and lots of patience. But ultimately, it’s all worth it to capture beautiful images for you.
